Operating Levy Renewal

The Dexter Rural Fire Protection District Board of Directors has voted to place a renewal of the District’s current operating levy on the May 19, 2026 ballot.

This operating levy plays an important role in supporting the services our community relies on every day, including fire protection, emergency medical response, training, and maintaining staffing and equipment.

In the coming months, residents can expect to receive additional information, including a community mailer and opportunities to attend public open houses to learn more, ask questions, and speak directly with District leadership.
